Modern motorcycles are made in order to be faster than the previous models. However, this results in more crashes, with more injuries, deaths and damages on both sides of the equation. Therefore, there is a need for an alternative for modern bikes as well as promoting safe riding habits.
The aim of my presentation would be to show how one can go about this. I will also discuss safety aspects that should be considered before purchasing a motorcycle and how to stay safe while riding regardless of what kind of bike you choose – as long as it is not a bicycle/motorcycle(/vehicle).
Finally I will show by using real life case studies that simply making motorcycle faster just makes it more dangerous. In fact, modern bikes have so many safety features nowadays that they have become no fun to ride either.

Yoshimura

Suzuki Moto
Suzuki Moto is a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1953. The company is headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan and manufactures motorcycles and ATVs.
Suzuki Moto’s first motorcycle was the K2, which debuted on October 16th 1953. Since then, it has become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of both powered two-wheelers (motorcycles) and four-wheel vehicles (ATVs).
Kawasaki
Kawasaki is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles, ATVs and other machines. It has been around since 1909 and is one of the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturers.
Kawasaki has been making motorcycles since 1909, when founder Soichiro Kawaguchi started selling them out of his shop in Japan. He sold his first motorcycle to an American diplomat in 1911—a bike that would later become known as one of the most iconic bikes ever made: The “Black Ninja.”
Buell
Buell is a motorcycle manufacturer based in Livonia, Michigan. It was founded in 2005 by former Harley-Davidson executives to create an all-American brand of motorcycles. The company’s current lineup includes the Lightning X1, Firebolt and Firebolt S, which are all street-legal sportbikes that can be purchased for under $10,000.
The Buell Motorcycle Company manufactures its products at the historic American Motors plant (AMC) located in Trenton, Michigan—a short drive from Detroit’s metropolitan area—where it also serves as headquarters for several other divisions within Harley-Davidson’s parent company: Davidson Technology Group Incorporated (DTTG).
Aprilia
Aprilia is a motorcycle manufacturer that was founded in 1964 by Giacomo Agostini, who was also the founder of Ducati. The company has since become one of the biggest manufacturers of motorcycles in Italy, with their bikes being known for their reliability, performance and affordability.
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory comes with an engine displacement of 2-liters and produces about 170 horsepower at 8500 rpm. It can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds and can go up to 200 km/h (124 mph). This bike costs around $10K USD which makes it affordable even for those who don’t have much money on hand but still want something fast as well as reliable!

Modern motorcycles are much faster than their predecessors. The fastest motorcycles of the past were powerful, but they did not have the same amount of torque as modern bikes do. Modern bikes are also more powerful and responsive than those from decades ago. In fact, many people believe that modern bikes can go faster than any other type of bike ever made!
Modern supercars have been around for a long time—but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get one today if you want one!
